From Maison des Langues, publisher of the successful secondary methods Club Ados and À Plus, comes A la une, a course planned in 4 levels that cover A1–B1 of the CEFR.

A la une is well-balanced in that it employs the best teaching methods from past and present, marrying inductive learning with detailed grammar explanations. Additionally, a strong task-based component involves students in completing creative projects and “mini-projects,” such as shooting videos and conducting interviews, making A la une a method that truly inspires students to express their creativity. Activities are encouraged to be carried out in pairs or small groups, giving students the opportunity to apply their learning and collaborate with their peers.

Each chapter unit’s theme is centered upon a young person who uses their interests to introduce the Francophone city where they live. To support the theme, there is great video content and audio to immerse students in the Francophone world. Comprehension is reinforced by a final cultural quiz that can be used to gauge student achievement in each unit.

Preparation for the DELF is also included.
